Origins Holy Name Preparatory School had its beginnings as the Junior Department of the Holy Name Convent Secondary School until the advent of free secondary education in 1962, when it became a separate entity with its own principal. Holy Name Preparatory School is registered with the Ministry of Education as a Private School. The student population is approximately four hundred (400). We are concerned with nurturing and developing the whole child, - spiritual, academic, moral, social, and aesthetic. Guiding Principles and Structures - Holy Name Preparatory School was founded for the education of children in the Roman Catholic faith. The teachings and practices of the Roman Catholic religion are an integral part of the school's curriculum
- Children of other faiths are accepted into the school with the understanding that they will be present for and respect the religious activities of the school.
- As Catholic educators, we will guide our students
- to appreciate their dignity as children of God - to realise their God-given talents and abilities |
